This meet is held at a State Recreation Area!*
You will need a valid 2018 State Park Permit. If you don’t have one, they will sell single day passes for, I believe, $7.00 on site.

5:00 p.m. J.V. Girls and J.V. Boys (5000m)
5:45 p.m. Fun Run for Junior High (approximately 2000 m)
6:15 p.m. Awards at the field

PARKING: Buses and school vans should park in the area marked 1 on your map. Cars should park in the parking lots marked 2,3, and 4 on the map. Remember vehicles with NE. STATE PLATES may enter the park with on permit, (these are buses or school cars that are owned by public schools), all others will need to have a permit. One-day permits will be on sale at the park.

RESTROOMS: Spectators may use the ones at the park.

Maps of the Lake and of the course are attached below….they aren’t great but they are the best I was given or could find.

The weather forecast looks like it will be pretty warm (around 90º) with a moderate chance of thunderstorms. We will keep our eye on this throughout the next couple of days. Prepare for the possibility of inclement weather.

Also….there will be a snow cone vendor there or something like that. So if you’re up for treating your runner after the race, go for it.
